Job Description
We are searching for a dedicated and experienced VP of Operations for an innovative, high-growth company in the dining & entertainment space! The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing unit-level and corporate teams, and reporting directly to the CEO and CFO of the company.
Essential Responsibilities
Managing the operations of the organization from the top down
Building, scaling, and managing the operations of up to 10+ business units over the next five years
P&L and cost accountability company wide - assuring all teams hit and maintain their budgeted targets
Drive strategy and adherence to matters of the organization
Develop and implement strategic plans, standards, policies, and procedures to optimize overall operational performance, drive revenue growth, and enhance the overall guest experience.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and professional development across the business
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to align operational goals with overall business objectives.
Manage the quarterly and annual budgeting process and P&L responsibilities
Interview, hire, and mentor US operations management team.
Create and implement training programs to enhance employee skills, product knowledge, and service standards, fostering a culture of exceptional guest service.
Identify and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess performance, areas for improvement, and develop action plans to drive operational excellence.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational processes, streamline workflows, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, financial results, and key metrics to the executive team.
Open new venues in multiple cities and identifying key milestones leading up to being open to the public.
Stay informed of evolving regulations, laws, licensing requirements and industry best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate operational risks across the US.
Travel to units and assisting in all openings of new venues
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Accounting, or related field - MBA a plus.
5 - 10 years experience in big box, high-volume restaurant operations with an entertainment aspect
4-10 years in a similar role, responsible for total unit volume in excess of $50MM annually.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Must be proficient with MS Office, Outlook, and specifically Excel.
Knowledge of financial software
Depth of knowledge with construction projects and design
Ability to work with different types of people and different management styles.
