Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role: The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a critical role in the planning, development, and execution of recruiting strategies in order to attract, proactively build, and maintain a quality talent pipeline. This position reports directly the Manager of Talent Acquisition, and will also be tasked with developing relationships with key stakeholders across the business in order to promote a top-tier internal recruiting function. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate and help build Eagle Creek’s internal talent acquisition department to support a growing business.

What You’ll Do :

Provide full-cycle recruitment efforts for Eagle Creek’s corporate and operational departments.

Work directly with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies which ensure effective sourcing and retention of top talent.

Manage the entire recruiting and hiring processes: Evaluate applications and screen candidates via phone or virtual sessions, as well as facilitate pre-interview assessments as needed.

Facilitate interview scheduling and provide guidance to hiring managers throughout the entire recruitment process.

Provide insights into hiring decisions, candidate profiles, and serve as a trusted advisor to the business when it comes to talent acquisition.

Assist in new-hire onboarding (background checks, reference checks, drug screen administration, etc.).

Leverage recruiting tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, ZipRecruiter, Indeed, etc. to proactively attract and recruit candidates.

Assist in quarterly talent acquisition metric and KPI reporting.

Other additional duties as assigned.

What skills and experience you’ll need :

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field.

At least a year of professional experience in staffing, human resources, or corporate recruitment. Recent experience recruiting in multiple discipline areas and levels, including hiring for nonexempt, exempt and leadership positions highly preferred.

Familiarity with recruiting tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Monster, etc.

Basic working knowledge in all stages of recruitment such as sourcing, screening, offer negotiation, and relationship management.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as an aptitude for networking and relationship building.
