Director of Revenue Operations

Dallas, TX, United States

About Take Command

Take Command is a start-up on a mission to improve the healthcare system, starting with health insurance. Pragmatically speaking, we help employers reimburse employees for individual insurance instead of offering a traditional one-size-fits-all group plan. We believe this model can empower employees (when they have the right support) to be savvy healthcare consumers and have a transformative impact on the entire healthcare system.

Let's be honest—health insurance is usually a confusing, frustrating, and even emotional experience for people. We want to fix that with a new model, great technology, and a superior user experience. We have made a great start, but we need your help to fully realize our long-term vision.

Take Command is growing! We are looking for a Director of Revenue Operations to join our ambitious Finance team. Are you looking for an opportunity to play a critical role in driving key decisions in a fast-growing business?

Who are you?

We are looking for a Revenue Operations Director to manage and optimize the revenue operations process. You will be responsible for working closely with the sales and marketing teams to align efforts, and using data and analytics to measure and improve performance. The ideal candidate will have experience in revenue operations, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of the sales process. You should also comfortable serving as a business partner to senior leadership, delivering complex reporting and efficiencies to the organization.

On a regular basis you will:

Serve as a partner in ensuring that all revenue-generating activities are aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.

Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align efforts and ensure a seamless customer experience.

Use data and analytics to measure and improve performance, including tracking key metrics such as lead conversion, pipeline velocity and retention rates..

Identify areas where processes can be improved or streamlined in order to reduce costs and increase efficiency. Work with other departments to find ways of improving operational processes and systems that will lead to increased profitability for the company.

Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in revenue operations.

Work cross functionally to conduct market and customer research to understand the target audience and identify opportunities for growth.

Control data dashboards and develop revenue forecasts to communicate business goals with teams

Oversee data systems and ensure data quality, analysis and reporting improvements

Identify and resolve challenges and issues within the revenue operations process.

Attend industry events and conferences to build relationships and promote the company.

Provide training and support to team members on revenue operations best practices and tools.

Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the revenue operations process.

Effectively communicate with stakeholders both internally and externally in order ensure alignment on strategy across all teams involved in the process.

Qualifications:

You have a background in revenue operations, reporting and/or finance. Prior startup or operating experience is a plus.

7+ years of relevant experience; MBA not required but is a plus. (You've done this and know what good looks like)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data and analytics to improve performance

Familiarity with sales and marketing tools, such as HubSpot, etc.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a team

Knowledge of the sales process and the company's target audience and goals

Ability to conduct market and customer research to identify opportunities for growth

Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects

Flexibility and adaptability to change

A desire to learn and grow in the revenue operations field, and a willingness to continuously improve and develop skills

More About Us

We secured our Series B funding in 2023 and are thrilled to be able to expand our team. Despite being a small startup in a land of health insurance giants, we're the recognized industry leader for what we do (health insurance reimbursements) and passionate about bringing it to market because we know we can help fix a broken system and improve our clients' wellbeing and health outcomes.

We've been featured in The New York Times , The Wall Street Journal , The Dallas Morning News , and other national healthcare publications and are excited about our growth opportunities.

Take Command knows diversity and inclusion among our teammates is integral to our company's success and growth. Our vision is to recruit, develop, and retain the best team from a diverse candidate pool.

This has mostly been about us, but we'd love to hear from you--we can't wait to hear your story!

Take Command is an equal opportunity employer! We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
