Job Description

Block is seeking a Senior Legal Program Manager to join the Legal Operations team to support and help build the Legal Program Management (LPM) offering. You will report to the Head of Legal Operations at Block, working across the Legal team to manage and run complex projects. You will face complex problems, requiring strategic planning and tactical execution to resolve.

You Will:

Create integrated project plans and timelines

Integrate and synthesize information from multiple teams to gather requirements, set roles and responsibilities, analyze complex issues, mitigate risks and provide resolution

Manage client expectations and scope throughout the delivery of each project within the program

Balance competing priorities, staying organized and communicating updates along the way

Engage directly with Legal leadership on both strategy and granular details within project working groups

Communicate across all levels of the business regarding team/organizational/project updates, leadership escalations, and detailed working group notes

Bring challenging projects/teams back on track by establishing clear plans and by holding partners accountable

Build and review work products to ensure deliverables are met in the allotted time frame

Promote and embed a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications

You Have:

Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred, but not required)

8+ years of program/project management experience

6+ years of experience working with risk management related projects (specific experience in legal and/or compliance is preferred, but not required)

Experience leading departmental and enterprise-wide projects

Additional Information

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Zone A: USD $184,100 - USD $225,000

Zone B: USD $171,200 - USD $209,200

Zone C: USD $162,000 - USD $198,000

Zone D: USD $152,700 - USD $186,700
