Rapid7 is seeking a highly skilled, effective and experienced Principal Program Manager to join the M&A Integration & Strategic Programs team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing strategic programs that are associated with business partnerships, acquisitions, and/or strategic initiatives that drive business growth, innovation, and operational excellence. The Principal Program Manager - Strategic Initiatives, will collaborate with teams cross-functionally to execute & implement strategic initiatives, monitor progress, and ensure program(s) meet their goals & definitions of success.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Collaborate with executive leadership & key stakeholders to define program goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Execute strategic programs to achieve business objectives.
Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement program plans, timelines, and budgets.
Monitor program progress, identify risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies and actively help resolve issues.
Communicate program status, milestones, and key insights to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Apply a consulting mindset to drive continuous improvement & enhance program management effectiveness and efficiency.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the program team.
Develop and maintain relationships with internal groups, other Moose, and external parties, in support of achieving program success.
Prepare and present reports, presentations, and updates to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or related field; or commensurate experience.
Proven experience in strategic program management, including evaluation, planning, execution, and evaluation.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to work at multiple levels of an organization, for example, from experience presenting to & engaging with C-Suite Executives, as well as getting into the details of a spreadsheet with Business Analysts.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PgMP) is a plus.
Experience in Cybersecurity preferred.
Proficiency in project management tools and software, as well as Google Suite.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
