The Role:

As the Director of Retail Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our innovative, inclusive, and expressive brand to life across retail environments in North America. Reporting directly to the SVP of Retail you will be instrumental in developing and executing Milk Makeup’s North American retail marketing strategy, ensuring it resonates with our diverse consumer base while staying true to our brand DNA. This role requires a disruptive understanding of marketing, a curiosity + passion for beauty and the ability to thrive in a fast moving and disruptive organization.

What YOU’ll do:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and amplify a cohesive 360 degree retail marketing strategy that aligns with our global brand vision, ensuring local relevancy and brand integrity across all channels.

Retail Partnerships : Serve as the primary marketing liaison for retail partners, specifically specialty retailers like Sephora. Own the marketing collaboration, from strategy to execution, ensuring Milk Makeup stands out.

Act as the primary marketing liaison for global retail inquiries, leading monthly retailer marketing calls and spearheading the creation of Market Week decks.

Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize analytics to guide business decisions, evaluating new launch performances and marketing programs to optimize ROI and inform future strategies.

Collaborate closely with the VPs of Marketing and Digital to develop a comprehensive paid media strategy with our retail partners. Own the marketing collateral for these campaigns, ensuring they’re impactful and on-brand.

Innovation and Execution: Lead the ideation and execution of disruptive campaigns that drive brand awareness, affinity, and loyalty across all consumer retail touchpoints.

Direct the strategy for consumer facing mega-events and new market launches, from planning to execution, ensuring Milk Makeup’s presence is felt and celebrated.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Development, Digital Marketing, PR, Education, and Sales to create synergistic retail marketing initiatives.

Retail Marketing Mastery: Oversee all aspects of retail marketing, from in-store activations to online presence, ensuring seamless omnichannel experiences that delight our customers and drive sales.

Community and Culture : Embody and promote Milk Makeup’s culture, inspiring the team with your commitment to our values and vision.
