As the Outside Sales Executive, you will primarily focus on the Atlanta, GA market segment, and will play a dynamic role on our Sales team for one of our established sales territories. The sales focus is primarily in the SLED Market segment (State, Local and Education).

The ideal candidates must have a strong and existing (mainly SLED) account list to develop, particularly in the Atlanta, GA segment. We provide a comprehensive marketing package and are seeking an individual with polished in-person presentation and sales skills. In addition, we require someone who can work independently and effectively manage their time in the field. Sales responsibilities will involve both seeking new prospects and nurturing existing accounts.This position isan addition to our current sales force for our Georgia sales team and this position is remote.

Your Responsibilities

Sell IT Infrastructure solutions from various vendors (Cisco, Microsoft, VMWare, Palo Alto, Aruba, NetApp, and others) to primarily target State, Local, and School and Education (SLED) institutions.

Engage and drive sales with customers in the Georgiaarea and areas within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta.

Defined Sales Territory is where the Sales Executive resides, the current client list of the successful candidate, and DSI Tech's sales territory mapping.

Provide current and potential clients with product information and pricing and conduct daily on-site visits.

Focus on Federal E-rate opportunities as well as commercial sales.

Collaboratewith our Senior Network Engineers in the areas of Security, R&S, Wireless, Collaboration, Data Center, and Virtualization for all pre-sales activities.

Implement a strategic, solution-oriented approach to generateinterest in our unique value and establish a strong market position by identifying, developing, defining, negotiating, and establishing business relationships.

What You Need for this Role

3+ years in an outside sales capacity selling IT solutions for Cisco products and/or other vendors (NetApp, VMware, Microsoft, HPE, Crestron)

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics OR an equivalent combination of formal education, training, and directly related progressive job experience

Shouldhave a proven and solid SLED client prospect relationships of which can sell into

Must be willing to travel within the state of Georgia (territory defined above)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Excellent time management, organization skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication skills are required, both written and oral

Strong Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills

Results driven and detail-oriented

Demonstrated credibility in customer and team interactions
