Our client is looking for a business development professional to be a crucial part of their growing Global Sales and Client Engagement Team. You will have a proven track record of building and nurturing partnerships, along with a deep understanding of the financial services landscape. You will be primarily responsible for forging meaningful relationships with key players in the financial services industry to add strategic value and ultimately lead to revenue generating opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with key players in the financial services industry, including technology providers, accounting firms, law firms, industry associations and other relevant firms and stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal teams to identify partnership opportunities and ensure alignment with product development, sales, and marketing efforts.
Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
Lead the partnership lifecycle, from initial prospecting and onboarding to ongoing relationship management and optimization.
Drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships, including upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in partnership management or business development roles within the financial services industry.
Deep understanding of the financial services landscape, including knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and key players.
Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and driving positive change within the industry.
Occasional international travel for conferences and client/internal meetings will be required. You will need to be fully eligible to work in the USA with no sponsorship.
