Customer Success Specialist

This individual provides critical value to the operations team by supporting merchants with a variety of needs while assisting with vital processes of the department. The ideal candidate for this role is detail and solution oriented with a white-glove service approach. They value productivity and work with a sense of urgency and ownership.
What you do:
Facilitate the new client onboarding process with precision and efficiency, including:
Processing and submitting customer applications, communicating obstacles or challenges with our sales team, and ensuring all applications are addressed in a timely manner with minimal rejections.
Quality controlling and reviewing all new customer applications for accuracy, pricing, and compliance.
Placing outbound calls to merchants to obtain additional documentation or fulfill other requirements.
Answer incoming calls and respond to emails from merchants and consultants in a timely and courteous manner, providing excellent service during all internal and external customer interactions.
Complete varied, detailed, and time-sensitive processes, while corresponding with multiple departments, to resolve merchant account issues.
Act as a resource to all partners, sales channels, vendor partners, and customers.
Contact customers regarding their experience with Appstar ensuring every merchant has the best experience possible.
Provide assistance to other team members as needed.
The skills you bring to Appstar:
Excellent phone and typing skills.
Expert attention to detail when reviewing and submitting documents.
Top notch communication skills, with the ability to successfully gather and disseminate information to and from a variety of stakeholders.
Excellent math skills for determining pricing and reviewing customer statements.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with accuracy and efficiency.
Sense of pride in a job well done.
A willingness to accrue and share in-depth and technical knowledge.
Ability to speak Spanish fluently (preferred but not required).
Your Knowledge & Experience:
Bachelor's degree with emphasis on business or operations preferred.
Proven track record of problem solving and independently managing processes or workflow.
Proficiency in software systems and experience with Microsoft Suite.
Previous operations and/or customer service experience.
