The role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills to ensure all areas responsible for asset ownership are managing them effectively and in compliance with established standards. The ITAM Director will work in collaboration with other leaders to develop solutions and implement tools to enable an effective asset management program.What we are looking for:Strategic Planning. Develop and implement a comprehensive IT asset management strategy. Align IT asset management practices with the organization's strategic objectives and risk appetite.Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets from acquisition to disposal. Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of IT asset inventory including licenses, warranties, service agreements, and versions to ensure compliance with contracts and internal standards related to architectural currency, e.g. N-2Procurement and Vendor management: In collaboration with Vendor Management and FP&A, ensures the effective oversight of vendors and suppliers who provide and/or operate IT Assets. Implement, maintain, and enforce IT asset management policies, procedures, and best practices.Financial Management: Develop and manage the IT asset management budget, identifying opportunities for efficiencies and optimization. Contributes to cost efficiencies through reporting of product and version compliance.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of asset management professionals. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and collaboration.
