A nonprofit organization in New York City is currently seeking a new Senior Executive Assistant to join their growing team.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Executive Assistant will:
Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for the President & CEO and Executive
Leadership Team including managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence, arranging travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for meetings
Plans, coordinates, and ensures the President & CEO's schedule is followed and respected.
Provides "gatekeeper" and "gateway" role, ensuring appropriate access to the President & CEO's time and office
Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the President's Office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff
Successfully completes critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting acknowledgement letters, personal correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate the President & CEO's ability to effectively lead the organization
Handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on assignments to successful
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required
Strong work tenure: 5-10 years of experience supporting C-Level Executives, preferably in a non-profit organization
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, and Social Media web platforms
Expert level written and verbal communication skills
Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
