Bridge Builders is a dialogue project between the Black Christian and White Jewish clergy that has been meeting since June 2020. Our goals are to build and strengthen relationships, cultivate mutual understanding, and create safe spaces for communication through dialogue. We are looking to hire a Program Coordinator to provide logistical support for ongoing clergy meetings and assist us in expanding Bridge Builders to bring together teen participants as well. Plans to expand the Bridge Builders project are made possible by a Belonging Grant of the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington.
Job Responsibilities
· Manage Program Budget
· Manage meeting calendar, arrange meetings, and provide logistical support for regular clergy meetings (approximately 8 per year)
· Work with clergy leadership to create a recruitment strategy for teen inter-group dialogue.
· Arrange meetings for teen dialogue. Provide logistical support for the meetings. Identify topics and oversee the program content.
· Coordinate end-of-year teen service project
Requirements
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
· 2-5 years administrative and/or programming experience
· Passion for inter-group dialogue and creating exciting new things
· Demonstrated love for teen engagement and programming
This position is PT with flexible hours up to 20 hours per month
