REQUIREMENTS: ALL Applicants must be:

Able to Pass a Drug Test
Legally Eligible to Work in the US
Primary function: Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Accounting Department
Duties:
Supervise the Accounting Department Supervise the Senior and Staff Accountants
Develop and challenge Accountants with an emphasis on mentoring
Participate in Corporate sponsored events
Oversee the month-end closing process Prepare and/or review monthly GL account reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts
Prepare month-end adjusting entries for revenue, cost to complete, intercompany revenue and job costs
Work with the other Corporate Departments to ensure required monthly responsibilities are completed
Post required journal entries
Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules Reconcile and analyze all costs and revenue associated with construction contracts
Prepare all financial statement supporting schedules
Complete ratio analysis and debt covenant calculations
Oversee the daily banking responsibilities Review daily cash activity and address miscellaneous items
Ensure electronic payments and transfers are accurately and timely completed
Additional Duties Load annual budgets into ERP system (COINS OA)
Oversee COINS OA upgrade testing for accounting related items
Assist with the annual financial statement audit: prepare confirmations, reports, workpapers and footnotes for audited financial statements
Prepare workpapers and schedules for federal and state income tax returns
Maintain COINS OA financial statement reports
Assist with the annual workers compensation insurance audit
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:
4-year Accounting degree plus two years accounting experience or equivalent combinations of training and experience
Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Accounting system)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Maintain confidentiality of accounting information
Team player attitude
