The Sr Manager, Marketing Journey & Engagement position exists to develop and drive the integrated cultivation engagement team for Focus on the Family through strategy and execution using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. These initiatives include omnichannel acquisition, engagement, and conversion strategies in partnership with Ministry and Marketing teams. Leveraging an audience-based, testing-minded approach to engagement, this leader oversees the creation of stand-alone or integrated cultivation campaigns, and will guide KMI leaders, marketing channel team leaders, strategy, campaign, media planners, and internal FOTF customers to ensure that all project team members have a complete understanding of the project deliverables. Utilizes execution through Salesforce Journey Builder and other Marketing Cloud platforms.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Oversees and develops multichannel (e-mail, text, social web) guided journeys in Salesforce Marketing cloud platforms in collaboration with KMI, Marketing Channel and CRM leaders
Collaborates with VP Marketing to prioritize strategic journeys including broad scope promotion campaigns, automated engagement and long-term journey development involving several departments
Oversees development of data processes in collaboration with Data Segmentation, Ministry Reporting and IT MDR leadership to ensure journey data mapping meets engagement and measurement objectives
Oversees the implementation in Salesforce’s Journey Builder and Mobile Studio of prioritized multichannel e-mail and text journeys in collaboration with internal technical and reporting teams
Accountable for implementation of Journey strategies and journey reporting frameworks using Salesforce Analytical platforms
Collaborates with Sr. Director and VP Marketing on the creation of a Journey Prioritization framework
Oversees the implementation of marketing text channel engagement including strategy, messaging, and text channel outcomes using Salesforce Mobile Studio in collaboration with KMI and Marketing Channel team leads
Is accountable for leading the teams to ensure video series journeys and other journey projects are delivered per strategy, and ROI reporting is delivered with both accuracy and timeliness
Influences KMI leaders and Marketing Channel directors in the development of video series and marketing journey project objectives, ensuring creative content aligns with ministry brand and alignment
Oversees team developing and implementing the ministry’s video series journeys
Is accountable for video series journey revenue attainment based upon FOTF ministry budget, while ensuring ROI is consistent with approved plans
Determines the necessary distribution channel for maximized constituent engagement, and guides the team on the design of pages to ensure creative, copy writing, and data integration is completed by supporting teams
Serves as the Ministry-wide Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Salesforce’s Journey Builder and Mobile Studio, understanding both the strategy required for engaging constituents coupled with the technological expertise to build, deploy, report, and pivot within each journey
Works closely with IT Digital Solutions and Digital Marketing teams on journey data integration into Salesforce CRM and testing
Supports the Director and VP of Marketing in prioritizing journey and video engagement initiatives given resource availability and constraints determining schedule, resources, dependencies, deliverables, risks, milestone development, and communications plans are established accordingly
Collaborates with CRM cross-functional team, Directors and other departments involved in marketing projects including scope, schedules, resources, dependencies, deliverables, and milestone development (including print matrices, strategies, and budgets of projects in process)
Oversees the creation of the journey marketing strategy including, but not limited to scope, audience development, tactical execution, and final project measures for approval by KMI and Marketing Channel team leadership
Is responsible for timely reporting of all video series and journey initiatives, which includes the acquisition, conversion, and engagement of constituents for executive consumption, and strategic planning
Serves as the “convener” across FOTF departments ensuring that engagement initiatives complement and align with existing KMI strategies
Identifies and reconciles issues or obstacles that stand in the way of attaining strategy or impacting an on-schedule or on-budget completion of engagement initiatives

Knowledge/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business, or equivalent experience
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Platforms and Journey Builder, a plus
8-10 years of marketing management experience or demonstrated collaborative team leadership
8+ years in multi-channel marketing communication strategy development and execution
Video content engagement experience preferred
Working knowledge of Focus on the Family’s mission, values, and objectives
Working knowledge of entire creative and media production processes
Computer proficiency in a variety of Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint)
Project Management software proficiency, i.e., Teradata, Microsoft Project (desired but not required)

Pay Range: $83,196 to $95,157/hYr.
