Description
Seeking an experienced hands-on Business and Managed Service Provider Operations professional ready to partner with the CEO, Technology, Finance, and Sales departments to make decisions and build out improved Technology, MSP Services, Professional Services, Shipping, Procurement, and Office Management operations at Hyopsys as we continue our growth. The Director of Operations will oversee the technical operations in our fast-paced organization. Responsible for developing solutions for technical alignment and improvement, internally and for our clients. Excellent technical aptitude is required as well as background in desktop, systems, and network administration and engineering. Manage and continuously develop our all aspects of our team. This role will need to have a strong customer/client service voice and background and be able to communicate effectively as a partner in the operations of these departments and responsibilities. This position is also responsible for managing department heads within Professional Services (& Project Management), Service Delivery/NOC/SOC, and Account Management. The right candidates will also oversee the profitable procurement of goods/services on new sales and building out repeatable processes with other departments. This role must effectively execute all 24x7x365 operations without the help of the CEO, filling in where any gaps may exist, and making effective recommendations to ensure consistent service delivery is provided around the clock.

Previous management experience is a must
Daily management and tracking of time, tickets, activities, and tasks

Prepare financial budgets and performance reports
Build and maintain relationships with external advisors and vendors
Identify the need for upgrades and the opportunities for improvement
Liaison with other departments to improve overall operations
Tackle difficult and complex problems independently and with your team
Provide valuable insight while creating actions plans
Guide efforts to respond to unforeseen circumstances that impact our organization and/or our clients
Ensure 24x7 operations and on-call SLAs are met without the assistance of the CEO
Oversee afterhours and weekend coordination response efforts are functioning to meet customer needs
Desire to mentor team members and develop skillsets internally
Keep up to date on cutting edge, traditional, and hybrid IT Solutions

Job Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s Degree, Technical school, or combination of education and experience
Experience : Previous Managed Service Provider experience a must
At least 7 years of experience/knowledge of many of the following:
Windows Server
DNS
Microsoft 365
Network Fundamentals
Virtualization
Email Systems
Vendor/Partner relationships
Procurement
Business Management
Shipping, receiving, and procurement of product and supplies (including dropping off at vendor shipment hubs)
Requirements
Valid Driver's License
Own Vehicle for Transportation
Valid Car Insurance
Must be willing to commute to Erdenheim, PA (this is not a remote position but may work from home time to time
Ability to visit local client sites
Occasional regional or national travel required to premium customers
