At Grata, we are looking for an experienced VP of Engineering with strong technical and managerial experience. We are looking for someone who has led multiple engineering teams and is excited about building a cutting edge platform for private market dealmaking. About the Role :
Drive technical strategy, team design, and product delivery
Drive operational excellence by establishing clear metrics and efficient lightweight processes
Prioritize and balance short and long term engineering investments
Build, onboard and up-skill top engineers and managers
Create compelling personalized career paths for engineers on the team
Partner with Product to develop our long term product strategy and roadmap
Coordinate work across multiple engineering teams and other groups
Expand on our collaborative, inclusive engineering culture
About You : Deep experience as an engineering leader of a high growth SaaS startup
Experience hiring, managing, and training top engineers in an high scale environment
Experience coaching engineering managers and leads
Experience managing multiple teams and coordinating high velocity engineering efforts
Strong technical experience with data/search/distributed technologies/high scale SaaS/etc
Strong team management skills
CS / Engineering degree or equivalent work experience

The compensation package for this role is targeted at $250,000-$300,000 base salary and competitive equity.
