Job Description
Our customers are large-scale international companies where a product’s time-to-market is key, without sacrificing quality. To grow our business, we’re seeking a goal-oriented and dedicated Operations leader to cultivate efficiency, innovation, and success in our Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams. Our ideal candidate is an entrepreneur-minded, proactive problem solver with strong business acumen. To be successful in this role, this seasoned leader will initiate strategic process initiatives, optimize performance in multiple departments, and drive product line development and innovation. They’ll be a key influencer in motivating the team in accomplishing shared goals and driving key performance metrics across the company effectively. The candidate must be adept at working with people and comfortable working in a high intensity manufacturing and tech environment as they’ll be expected to drive international and domestic teams and directly engage with our clients.

Responsibilities
Understand big picture market trends and needs to develop internal strategies that will support the growth of the company from multiple angles, including but not limited to market diversification, product line innovation, engineering efficiency, manufacturing optimization, and operational profitability
Work closely with the CEO and financial team to make budget recommendations, guide contract negotiations, evaluate monthly and quarterly results, and lead weekly to quarterly meetings to motivate teams around shared goals
Initiate cross-functional team collaboration in engineering, manufacturing, quality control, logistics, and sourcing teams to execute at a tactical level, proactively mitigating and resolving issues as needed
Manage business processes and implement productivity tools to optimize efficiency and accuracy
Invigorate company vision and purpose, aligning teams to high-level objectives by appropriately developing department directives, working with teams to set goals and KPIs, and building up other leaders and talent in the company to support sustainable business growth
Tactically influence customer relationships to improve customer satisfaction in the short and long term
Qualifications
BS or relative experience in a technical discipline (engineering or similar), MBA is a plus
Proven record of success as a hands-on operations management leader with at least 10 years of experience, or in similar roles with a progressive career track in a manufacturing and tech environment
Exhibits superb critical thinking skills with ability to visualize big picture impact and prioritize strategies; will creatively and thoroughly analyze problems to make prudent decisions and resolve issues in a timely fashion
Strong acumen in an international business setting and experienced in working with large-scale customers at all levels in a complex and fast-paced B2B environment
Experienced in strategic planning, contract negotiation, manufacturing, and product planning
Preferred
Conversational fluency in Mandarin.
CSCP, PMP, Six Sigma, or any relevant certification.
