Job Description
Our client, a leading food safety company, is looking for an Area Sales Manager with solid Sales experience. Specifically, we are seeking an individual who is able to handle the following responsibilities:
1) Maximize profitability, volume and sales margin in the area
2) Ensure the development of the business in the defined area according to the defined strategy
3) Develop the client base by active sales prospection
4) Prepare and implement the possible price modifications
5) Orientate the clients and potential clients to the use of company products
6) Identify customer needs
7) Define an added value solution for the customer or Initiate internal contact and meeting to define the best-added value solution for the customer
8) Explain the proposal and its value to the customer
9) Work towards the achievement of the defined objectives
10) Participate in exhibitions and workshops in the area
11) Organize customer visits according to the current sales focus
12) Prepare customer visits appropriately
13) Prepare product presentations and propose them to the Management
14) Make visit reports and send them to management in a timely manner
15) Update CRM company and contact card appropriately
16) Define the customer perceived value of the product and then offers a price for a solution
17) Ask management for approval when the proposed price is below a certain level
18) Prepare a quote in the CRM and submit it to customers
19) Follow up on samples requests
20) Follow up with the customer and define next actions
21) Follow up with customer complaints
22) Receive the customer complaint
23) Ensure that the customer complaints forms are filled accurately
24) Follow up on the customer complaint with appropriate person in the organization
25) Prepare forecasting for the area
26) Attend weekly sales meetings to keep the organization informed
27) Perform other duties as assigned
Critical Requirements
1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the food safety industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in sales management

Compensation and Other Details
Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
