**About The Job Customer Service Representative**

Epimed is a development, design, manufacturing, and distribution company creating innovative medical products for over 40 years. Our focus is to provide effective high quality specialty devices in the areas of pain management and regional anesthesia. We strive to continually provide and develop a variety of innovative, patented solutions for physicians with an emphasis on safety. Epimed has facilities located in Upstate New York and the Dallas/Fort Worth area. We have direct sales representatives across the US including Europe and distribute in over 40 countries.

We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our Customer Service Department in the Texas Office.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Processes orders for Epimed products received by, telephone, FAX, e-mail or personally from customer or company employees.

* Performs order-entry duties in conformance with written procedures as directed in the Customer Service Section of the Quality System Manual.

* Edits orders received for price and nomenclature then confirms with customer.

* Assists with filling orders and receiving shipments in conformance with written procedures as directed in the Quality System Manual.

* Informs customers of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, backorders, and any additional information needed. Informs customer of any changes on the fulfillment date of backorders.

* Completes order form and computes the total product and shipping cost to the customer.

* Enters data into the computer and records/files copy of orders received according to date received.

* Communicates and works directly with Inventory Control Manager regarding orders, particularly those that would deplete stock.

* Fill and follow up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates.

* Compiles sales statistics and prepares various reports for management.

* Assists with trade show preparation by assembling literature handouts and other supplies for trade show booth.

* Must be comfortable contacting customers regarding collection of past due invoices.
