About The Job

As the Senior Manager of Sales Operations, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our sales processes, supporting our sales team and ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our sales department through analyzing sales data. You will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, managing sales data and analytics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve the Company’s sales objectives.

How You'll Make An Impact

Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics that drive achievement of revenue targets.

Collaborate with senior leadership to define quarterly sales objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Streamline and improve the sales process to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement and implement solutions.

Collect, analyze, and interpret historical revenue and pipeline data to provide insights and operational recommendations.

Create reports and dashboards to track KPIs and performance metrics and present key trends to senior management.

Evaluate and implement sales tools and technologies to enhance sales operations.

Ensure sales teams are equipped with the necessary resources and technology.

Collaborate with marketing, finance, and other departments to align strategies and goals.

Act as a liaison between sales and other functional areas.

Assist in the development of sales forecasts and budgets.

Monitor and report on sales performance against budget.

Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices.

Maintain accurate sales documentation and records.

Education/Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Sales or a related field.

Additional qualifications such as MBA/CMA/CPA are a plus.

On Your First Day We'd Like You To Have:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales operations, preferably in the medical device, pharma, or life science industry.

10-15 years total work experience, can include accounting or financial analysis.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in sales analytics tools and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).

Excellent leadership/influencing skills and a track record of change management through innovation and collaboration at the most senior levels.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy.

Proven track record of driving sales process improvements.

Work Location:

Onsite/Hybrid San Jose Headquarters

Salary Range:

$160,000 - $205,000 (Minimum to maximum salary range for candidates based in San Jose, CA)

Compensation for the role is based on geographical location. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly.

Compensation also depends on a number of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
