Overview:
Our Client, a Fortune 100 Credit Union, is seeking an experienced Technology Project Manager to lead and manage projects supporting information technology platforms. The ideal candidate will handle projects that may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications and serve as the primary contact for senior department managers regarding critical change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Plan, organize, monitor, and control projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective completion.
Change Management: Serve as the main contact for senior department managers for critical change initiatives and provide support to staff.
Partnership and Planning: Collaborate with the business to develop and transition plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain change initiatives.
Scope and Accountability: Manage initiatives limited in scope to department products, processes, or functions, with potential cross-functional or inter-departmental implications.
Analysis and Implementation: Analyze present-state conditions, develop alternative future-state approaches, and facilitate implementation.
Communication: Effectively communicate with managers, peers, and business partners on deliverables, timelines, and support needs.
Risk Management: Develop and socialize potential risk mitigation strategies.
Documentation: Responsible for Clarity and PCM updates and maintaining project documents.
Required Skills and Experience:
Must be able to work M-F 40 hours/ week onsite in San Antonio, TX
Must be able to work a W2 Contract, we can not do C2C arrangements.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without a sponsoring employer indefinitely. At this time we can only accept US Citizens, TN Visa, GC Holder, GC EAD.
Experience with Agile
Project Management Expertise: 8+ years of Information Technology Project Management experience.
Tools Proficiency: Proficient in using project management tools and techniques. Ideally Clarity.
Communication: Excellent communication skills for interacting with managers, peers, and business partners.
Proven track record in managing technology projects with cross-functional or inter-departmental implications.
Ability to serve as a primary contact for senior department managers and provide critical change initiative support.
Strong analytical skills for assessing present-state conditions and developing future-state approaches.
Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, organize, and monitor projects to successful completion.
Experience in developing risk mitigation strategies and maintaining project documentation.
