Responsibilities
• Position would be responsible for receiving invoices, verifying approvals, coding and keying invoices, sending payments, and filing
• Accuracy and adhering to accounting cycle calendar are key
• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation, GL coding and approval prior to payment
• Process, batch and input vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and check requests
• Process check runs
• Setup new vendors and 1099 tracking
• Reconcile customer statements and maintain AP files
• Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives
Qualifications
• Thorough knowledge of accounts payable function
• Experience in ViewPoint a plus
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on timeliness and accuracy
• Skilled in the use of personal computers, Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Excel) and software
Compensation
• Up to $60-65k base
