The Role:
We are looking for a channel sales manager/director to cultivate sales opportunities and support RIOS network of exceptional distribution partners across the United States. Desirable candidates will have sales experience, industry contacts, and domain knowledge of robotics and automation in one or more of the following key industries: manufacturing, logistics, material handling, e-commerce, food production/processing, or similar. This position may be remote and is anticipated to have 50% travel.
Responsibilities of the Role Include:
Build and execute on business plans that establish channel partner success
Discover new sales opportunities and grow customer accounts with channel partners
Clearly articulate RIOS solution offerings and the benefit to channel partners and customers
Provide complete support to channel partner sales, marketing, and engineering teams to increase sales activity
Supply resources and materials to channel partners to ensure sales success
Represent RIOS in meetings as part of overall channel partner and customer success
Build, maintain, and report on active channel sales partner pipeline
Provide feedback to RIOS product development team based on channel partner and customer discussions
Attend trade shows to support partners in recruiting new business by representing RIOS solutions offerings
Prepare and present formal presentations for internal and external audiences
Meet and exceed sales revenue goals
Attributes of desired candidates may include some of the following:
Bachelors degree
5+ years of strong sales experience in automation or technical sales
Proven record of success in automation solutions sales, exceeding sales targets
Strong knowledge of sales process and use of CRM to manage customer data
Deep knowledge of customer prospecting to build and nurture strong sales pipelines
Experience communicating with and supporting distribution networks and customers
Organized, self-motivated with excellent communications and presentation skills
Understanding of the complex needs of customers in manufacturing environments, warehouses, e-commerce, etc.
Passion for selling and providing transformational solutions in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
