Under the direction of the Account Director, the Account Executive or Sr Account Executive is responsible for liaising with client and agency staff to coordinate traditional advertising and event marketing campaigns.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Driving, managing, & communicating status on advertising and activation projects from conception through launch.
Contribute to weekly status reports, hot lists, etc.
Author, edit and contribute to project origination and revision forms.
Author conference reports and key correspondence with clients for on-going projects.
Join Account Team in client meetings to discuss and assess their marketing & advertising needs, on occasion lead client and/or internal meetings.
Recognize the relevancy of the Agency's ideas to clients' business needs and advocate for ideas.
Ability to interpret advertising strategy and speak to it in discussing advertising ideas.
Liaising with, and acting as a link between, the Account Team and Agency departments (Creative/Production/etc.) by maintaining regular contact with both, ensuring that communication flows effectively.
Demonstrate initiative and the ability to anticipate problems and opportunities; be seen as an expert Project Leader.
Ability to manage workload, accomplish tasks and manage others.
Preserve and foster WI's Culture and maintain a positive and forward thinking attitude.
Participate in client meetings, advocating the Agency's work while balancing the Agency's POV and client's needs.
Requirements
BA or BS degree in Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
Speaks/Understands Spanish
Experience in Segment (African American, Hispanic, Asian, and LGBTQ) marketing a plus.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, the ability to motivate staff, peers and clients and the ability to be proactive and use initiative.
Minimum 1-3 years of traditional advertising agency experience required.
Experience within Digital and Broadcast Production.
Experience in the Automotive is a plus.
Excellent oral and written communication, organization, and presentation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and assimilate large amounts of data while paying attention to detail.
Ability to effectively forecast and allocate time based on current and future workload.
Must be proficient on MS Office products.

The salary range for this position is $50,000.00 to $80,000.00. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; the associated discipline; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
