About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Product Engineering (Custom .NET) to lead the platform engineering organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership, vision, and strategy for the software platforms, including the creation and execution of the product strategy and roadmap. This role involves overseeing the implementation of platform engineering initiatives, championing best practices, and ensuring that the initiatives align with the business's strategic goals. The VP will also be tasked with recruiting, developing, and retaining talent within the team, as well as fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Collaboration with cross-functional business stakeholders is essential to define and scope large projects, and the VP will be expected to track key metrics for continuous improvement and hold team members accountable.
Candidates for this position at The Company should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or business administration, with at least 10 years of proven software product management experience and a minimum of 7 years leading product management teams. Experience in leading product or applications teams that work on cross-functional software, particularly with integration with Oracle or Salesforce products, is highly valued. The role requires a demonstrated ability to handle multiple concurrent projects, prioritize effectively, and work with engineering teams to define, execute, and iterate on large, multi-team projects. The VP should be comfortable with data analysis using SQL or spreadsheets and be adept at collecting and analyzing feedback to shape product requirements and features.
