Office Manager for ICWC San Francisco Mid-Market

The Immigration Center for Women and Children (ICWC) seeks a full-time Office Manager for our San Francisco Mid-Market office. ICWC is a non-profit legal organization providing free and affordable immigration services to underrepresented immigrants in California and Nevada. ICWC strives to provide security and stability for children who are abused, abandoned, or neglected and for immigrants who are survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other violent crimes. ICWC primarily works with federal immigration laws that allow marginalized immigrants to apply for work authorization and permanent residency.

More information about ICWC is available at www.icwclaw.org. The salary range for this position is $63,000-$73,000 annually, based on experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Office Manager will supervise administrative assistants and lead administrative and building operations at the San Francisco Mid-Market location. The Office Manager will also work collaboratively with the Deputy Director to provide org-wide administrative support. The successful candidate must be highly organized, energetic and sufficiently flexible to handle multiple assignments in a fast-moving dynamic environment. This person will be able to independently identify issues and take initiative to problem solve.
Primary Responsibilities:
San Francisco Mid-Market
Supervising a three-person administrative team, including reception and mail staff, and ensuring administrative operations are running smoothly
Managing office meetings, events, and closures
Managing landlord/building and workstation logistics (e.g., moves, additional workstations and changes to workstations)
Maintaining office equipment and coordinating with the IT consultant
Ordering office supplies, and maintaining equipment and filing system (physical and electronic files)
Contributing to maintaining a positive and productive workplace

Assisting with the organization’s administrative HR tasks: including time sheets, PTO requests, onboarding and offboarding staff, and job posting management
Administrating and updating the organization’s database, resources, policies and procedures
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
Office management and supervisory experience
Strong writing skills and meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work independently, and collaboratively with the team
Other Qualifications:
Spanish language skills preferred, but not required
Experience working at a nonprofit organization
A demonstrated interest in low-income legal services and/or a commitment to immigrants' rights
