Airgas National Carbonation (ANC) is the premier supplier for beverage carbonation. We carbonate your drinks in restaurants, bars, convenience stores and craft breweries from coast to coast. As one of the youngest and fastest growing businesses within Airgas, we are just getting started!

We have a unique opportunity for a V.P. of Sales to join our team. This position will work closely with the field sales team and the operations team. He/she will design the growth strategy to take our business to the next level. This is your opportunity to truly have an impact on the business.

We are looking for someone who understands that high performing sales teams do not just happen. For ANC, we are looking for a leader who understands the ability to sell value. The right candidate will understand the partnership between sales and operations. He/she must be confident in developing and communicating a sales strategy. He/she must also be able to quickly develop rapport and be someone who invests into properly training and coaching a sales team. If you live out these aspects, we want to speak with you!

In terms of strategic aspects of this role, you will be responsible for:

Developing the strategic plan to drive sales objectives for the next 3-5 years. This includes determining which markets to enter, growing existing markets and determining which national accounts to pursue.

Creating compensation plans to motivate the team and drive the desired business results.

In terms of the core functions, you will also be responsible for:

Directly managing two Sales Managers, who in turn lead the field sales team.

Overseeing all sales related activities, including developing and monitoring progress against sales objectives.

Developing new business through prospecting and targeting key partners

Providing direct support to manage and enhance relationships with all national accounts and national account prospects.

Providing required management reporting (including P&L) and communicating results including narratives on what impacted the results.

Reviewing monthly performance and financial results of each territory and providing direction as needed.

Directing and coordinating the annual sales forecast by territory.

Are you a MATCH?

Position Requirements:

Ten or more years B2B sales experience is required.

Five or more years of progressive sales leadership experience in a B2B, multi-state environment is required.

A Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Business from four-year college or university is preferred.

The ability to quickly build trust and rapport with customers, leaders and associates at every level.

Experience managing departments and cross-functional teams, including people development skills and leadership qualities.

Experience in crafting strategic plans to grow business.

Strong organizational, presentation and communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to be personable, professional, responsive, knowledgeable, credible, trusted and drive value in an organization.

Strong experience with Google G-Suite skills.

Salesforce experience is preferred.

Ability to travel overnight around 30% of the time.

Must possess a valid driver's license.
