This job develops, manages, and enhances payor relationships to provide for operational efficiencies and contractual compliance. Ensures education of operational departments regarding payor contractual requirements/initiatives, and coordinates resolution of payor issues. Ensures timely and accurate communication of provider information is made available to payors and conducts contract negotiations with payors as designated by leadership.

Education

Required -High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred -Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration.

Work Experience

Required - 7 years of related healthcare experience;

OR

4 years of related healthcare experience with a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.

Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Working knowledge ofbudget and financial data and ability to analyze trends and make recommendations.

Decision-making and delegation skills.

Ability to maintain confidential information.

Ability to work a flexible schedule (e.g. 24/7, weekend, holiday, on call availability).

Job Duties

Maintains appropriate payor related information in compliance with organizational standards.

Maintains appropriate education and training requirements.

Participates in facilitating departmental strategic initiatives.

Ensures contract compliance and facilitates operational issue resolution.

Identifies revenue enhancement and organizational growth opportunities.

Performs other related duties as required.
