Job Overview:
The Customer Service Administrator will be a key player in ensuring the smooth operation of our 3PL services. This role involves providing administrative support to the logistics team, managing documentation, and maintaining effective communication channels with clients, carriers, and Management.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the coordination and execution of logistics operations.
Manage and organize documentation and supplies, including shipping documents, stock materials, and office supplies.
Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics processes.
Handle inquiries and provide information to clients regarding shipment status, project timelines, etc.
Support the logistics team with data entry, report generation, and other administrative tasks.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of paperwork related to shipments and inventory, as well as outbound special orders and projects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve issues.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant/Client Services or in a similar role, preferably in the logistics or 3PL industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Familiarity with logistics software and systems is a plus.
Expectations
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients.
Identify opportunities for proactive Client Service measures and develop processes with Management to implement.
Create and Organize SOPs for administrative processes.
Work closely with Management team in fulfillment, receiving, inventory, and other departments to ensure client needs are being met.
Communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of the organization.
