Job Profile

Full-time | Exempt

Location: Preferred candidate would report to our Rockville, MD HQ. Otherwise the candidate is preferably located in the Central or Eastern time zone and have easy access to a major airport.

Responsibilities:

General: Meets or exceeds quarterly metrics/goals/project plans as assigned.

Support the commercial sales and marketing team to increase sales funnel and funnel velocity.

Lead Generation and Commercial Coordination: Contact/cold call potential customers considered targets for Psomagen’s services (often based on a script), and able to answer entry-level technical questions. Recommends products and/or services based on customer’s needs.

Takes detailed call notes and records any feedback, and creates respective next activity in HubSpot CRM.

Utilize the CRM database (HubSpot) to input and provide information that will increase effectiveness of Regional Sales Manager’s sales calls.

Initial qualification and development of leads from various sources provided by marketing or product management (e.g. tradeshow lead follow-up)

Coordinate, support regional tradeshows/tabletops/seminars through 1) identifying events, 2) inviting specific customer populations to the events, 3) lead entry into HubSpot, and 4) attendee follow up.

Sales staff coordination – 1) support the Regional Sales Managers to track down customer purchase orders and/or submission of samples to help move the sales process forward, and 2) follow up on purchase order status.

Web Chat: Act as main channel holder for web chat – engaging with website visitors to qualify their needs and pass them off to sales.

Marketing Research: Conduct assigned projects for customer and market research

Perform searches and extract data from/within SciLeads, HubSpot and other databases.

Research and translate accounts' structure and main scope into HubSpot.

Account or research area specific research - drive funnel lead generation by identifying key opinion and decision makers, map related researchers to KOLs/KDMs.

Position Requirements: Excels at customer service.

Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, communicating effectively on the phone and video.

Strong skills in database management, high-level Excel skills (e.g. Pivot tables)

Learns about Psomagen’s new NGS methods and applications quickly and effectively.

Works well independently, good at time management, and highly organized.

Experience with CRM systems (i.e. HubSpot) a plus.

Required flexibility in terms, the client's working hours (the position requires flexible working hours, adapted to national working hours of potential clients)

Achieve call/week and leads/week targets.

Preferred Qualifications: BS in one of the Sciences, MS or PhD a plus.

Sales/Telesales experience is a strong plus.

Web scraping skills a plus.

Time management, able to work independently in given tasks.

Proficient in English language.
