Head of Business Development

The Head of Business Development is a key resource on CyberCore's leadership team and will report directly to the CEO. The individual in this role leads CyberCore's business development team and works with key stakeholders within CyberCore to build relationships with customers, primes, and partners.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Secure Supply Chain & Logistic Services, Enterprise IT Services and Mission Services. The candidate must be motivated to succeed, eager to build and maintain relationships, and willing to come up with creative ideas to position CyberCore on new and existing programs. This position requires a dynamic individual who possesses the skill to cross between staff augmentation services, lifecycle IT (product & services) as well supply and logistics offering.
Roles and Responsibilities
Oversee the business development team and all growth functions for CyberCore; be a strategic voice on the senior leadership team.
Develop the pipeline for organic growth by ensuring excellence in delivery of full life cycle business development activities across operating segments, including strategic planning, management of bid and proposal resources, target identification, capture strategies, proposal management, contract award and customer relations.
Provide critical linkages between the long-term strategic plan and near-term new business actions and will partner with the CEO to ensure effective use of business development resources across the organization as well as identifying and responding to key customer relationship needs.
Advise on plans for key customers and provide additional leadership and expertise in other new business matters including the following: strategic planning, competitive intelligence and market analysis, and M&A strategy.
Contribute to the leadership by providing guidance and counsel as required on operational issues in partnership with peers from contracts, finance, human resources and operations.
Required Qualifications 15+ years of management experience, including building relationships with the Intelligence Community, Defense Industrial Base, U.S. Government, and military 15 years of
Experience leading large teams and implementing projects.
Hold an Active TS/SCI with Polygraph .
Desired Qualifications Experience in government contracting and with government acquisitions.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
Strategic planning coupled with business and technical skills.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and creative problem-solving skills.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
