Security Products and Solutions (SPS) is part of Securitas Electronic Security. SPS designs and manufacturers industry leading physical security solutions including video monitoring, electronic access control, video surveillance systems, alarm systems and big data analytics. SPS’s world-class portfolio comprises three trusted, market-tested brands: 3xLOGIC, PACOM and Sonitrol.
We are seeking a world-class Technical Sales Associate (TSA) for the SPS brands. This position will be expected to engage with the Sales, Technical and Development teams, sharing and working with them to achieve the highest level of success and customer satisfaction.
This role will be focused on supporting SPS’s largest key account customers. The Key Accounts TSA will partner with the Key Account Director and Regional Sales team to support the assigned key accounts. As a technical sales role, this role is meant to bridge the gap between technical application of SPS products and sales. The focus of this role is to provide key account customer product sales training, pre-sales product design, product demonstrations and pre/post-sales support. This role will also support specific Key Account sales programs and initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and maintain an extensive working knowledge of 3xLOGIC, Pacom Vigil Core and Sonitrol products.
Work with the Key Account Manager and Regional Sales teams to support assigned key accounts in North America.
Work with sales team to support new product introductions presentations to key accounts, provide product and technical training sessions for sales personnel.
Support Key Account specific sales programs and initiatives.
Project planning and responsibility for system deployments, including both Software and Hardware commissioning.
Work effectively with the Sales and/or Project Manager to ensure deadlines are met during the pre-sale, post-sale and commissioning phases of a project.
Knowledge of the setup and configuration of 3 rd party systems integrating with SPS solutions.
Define product and functional requirements based on customer and partner requirements.
Conduct in-depth product demonstrations and presentations both on- and off-site.
Work with the Marketing and Sales teams to ensure has the capability to accurately demonstrate the value of our products.
Assist in the creation of technical and application notes on SPS products.
Ensure that new opportunities for revenue are raised with the relevant Product Manager.
Travel up to 50%, US and Canada.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or an additional 3+ years of combined experience in the following, in lieu of a degree.
2+ years’ experience within the Physical Security Industry as a technical or sales resource for a OEM or Integration company.
Ability to obtain a valid passport.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical/Information Systems Engineering or other software-related degree.
Experience with Infinias access control solutions or a similar electronic access control system, such as Brivo, Kantech, Lenel, Software House (Tyco), Pacom, etc.
Experience with 3xLOGIC VIGIL video or similar such as, Eagle Eye, March Networks, Exacq, Verkada, etc
Excellent written and verbal presentation skills; in particular, the ability to interpret written requirements and technical specification documents and implement a solution with the product set.
Ability to work on classified projects, some of which may require government, police or other clearance.
