Job Description
As a member of the HR Central ("HRC") team, our HR Central Representatives ("HRC Rep") are an integral partner to the Human Resources function. The HRC Rep serves as the primary contact within a centralized shared service center (and/or support model).
As an HRC Rep, you will apply general HR knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of administrative tasks and are responsible for data administration by entering, maintaining, auditing, and processing sensitive HR data into the HRIS system. You'll partner with, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Payroll and/or Benefits team members on a variety of tasks and special projects
Responsibilities
As an HRC Rep, you will:
Utilize case management system to ensure accurate and timely responses to requests and inquiries received from HR within internal service level agreements ("SLA")
Use understanding of HR regulations and policies, knowledge database, reference materials, and all resources available to perform basic investigations and to provide resolutions
Review and enter changes related to the entire employee life cycle such as creating/extending offers to new hires and transfers, changes in salaries/jobs/departments, terminations, and more
Ensure integrity of all HR data entered in the HRIS system and perform audits to ensure accuracy
Assist HR Technology with enhancements to the HR systems
Establish positive relationships throughout HR and with process partners
Contribute to the creation of solutions to improve and standardize, where possible, the service by identifying, recommending, and supporting opportunities for improvement
Use functional and technical knowledge to provide end-users with general guidance and informal training as needed
Assist with creating formal internal training tools and process manuals
Work on other duties/project work as assigned
Requirements Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
Must have at least 1 year of experience working in a human resources environment or similar - preference given to those who have 3-5 years of experience
Experience in data entry for Human Resources is highly preferred
Must have a general understanding of core HR practices
Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office products is required (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)
Ability to work in HRIS systems; Oracle experience is a plus
Strong technology skills with the ability to quickly learn and work in a cloud-based solution
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constant deadlines and time constraints; open to an environment where things change constantly
Ability to follow standard procedures
