Help Desk Specialist

Company is looking for an individual to support the IT Department on a contract basis. Support services shall consist of desktop/workstation installation and maintenance, server and application support, as well as help desk support. Contract pricing to reflect Massachusetts State Contract ITS77 Full Service Cat 1.
Applicant should have 1-3 years working experience in a direct/phone support position utilizing an online ticketing system.
The successful candidate will have experience troubleshooting laptops, desktops, mobile devices and accessories. Experience supporting remote users via remote session and through step-by-step walk through instruction.
Hardware troubleshooting should include component level (drive, screen, keyboard, etc.) repair/replacement of faulty devices.
Software support should include building, configuring, updating, patching, and troubleshooting of all current desktop and server M.S. Operating Systems, and applications.
Connectivity experience should include VPN/remote access, TCP/IP, Ethernet, printing, Wi-Fi, and cellular based connections.
Familiarity with offender management systems, various MA State hosted systems, and criminal justice applications is preferred.
Schedule to be determined by The Director of Information Technology.
Approximately 40hr/wk Vendor will report directly to Director of Information Technology
Qualifications: Include Qualifications/Licenses that pertain to the scope above Vendor must be CORI cleared
Individual shall be responsible for providing their own vehicle for duties preformed under the contract.
Individual must have a valid drivers license.
