This role will be a crucial driver of our company's growth through M&A and partnerships. As a trusted Strategy & Corporate Development team member, you will be pivotal in identifying and executing M&A opportunities that contribute to long-term value creation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with the leadership team to understand the longer-term strategy and build solutions that could be accelerated through M&A and other partnerships.
Assist with the end-to-end M&A process and partnerships, including target identification, due diligence, modeling, and integration planning.
Develop and maintain complex financial models that support management decisions to act upon corporate initiatives and acquisition targets.
Lead in deal-related activities - creating financial models, deal structures, acquisition memorandums, board documents.
Develop relationships with investment banks, targets, and other industry players to build a transaction pipeline consistent with M's strategic growth objectives and timelines.
Prepare analyses, recommendations, and updates for the executive leadership and the board of directors.
Synthesize complex analyses and draw implications on risks and opportunities related to transaction/s
QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required; an MBA or advanced degree like CFA is preferred.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in prior work in M&A-related fields, such as corporate development, private equity, investment banking, consulting, accounting, or other transaction advisory services provider with strong M&A experience
Experience in the financial services and life insurance space preferable
Experience managing the entire business due diligence process, conducting financial analyses, and leading the integration post-closing.
Strategic thinking with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving business growth.
Excellent negotiation, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and lead a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salary will be commensurate with relevant experience, knowledge, and skills.
You will also be eligible for an annual incentive plan bonus.
