Our wireless SOC organization is responsible for all aspects of wireless silicon development with a particular emphasis on highly energy efficient / low power design and new technologies that transform the user experience at the product level, all of which is driven by a world-class vertically integrated engineering team spanning RF/Analog architecture and design, Systems/PHY/MAC/Power architecture and design, VLSI/RTL design and integration, Emulation, Design Verification, Test and Validation, Power modeling / correlation and FW/SW engineering. In this highly visible role, you will be at the center of a silicon design group with a critical impact on getting functional products to hundreds of millions of customers quickly. Will you join us and do the work of your life here? Key Qualifications Power architecture, including supply scheme experience

Very early-stage power estimation

Power team lead and XF team communication experience

Pre-silicon power modeling, analysis and power reduction experience. Proficient in PTPX, Power Artist or other power analysis tools. Full chip experience is a plus

Post-silicon power correlation experience. Full chip experience is a plus

Good understanding of Low Power ASIC logic design and UPF; Actual design experience is a plus

Good understanding of ASIC physical design, timing closure; Actual implementation experience is a plus

Proficiency in scripting languages (Shell, Perl or Python)

System architecture knowledge is a bonus.

Basic knowledge on wireless protocols, e.g., WiFi, BT

Basic knowledge on common SOC components, e.g., CPU, fabric, peripherals and PCIe

Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $161,700 and $284,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
