POSITION TITLE: Human Resources/Finance Coordinator
(ANTICIPATED)
BUILDING(S): Administrative Center
CLASSIFICATION: Tier IIA
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 months. Monday-Friday: 8 hours/day.
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Associate Superintendent for Staff and District
Operations, Assistant Superintendent/Chief
Financial Officer (CFO), or Designee
SALARY: Starting at $68,100/year (prorated) commensurate
with credentials and experience
EVALUATION PROCEDURES: Annually

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's Degree in human resources or a related field preferred.
2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in human resources or equivalent experience.
3. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Process and track all funding-related positions and pay for staffing-related
purposes.
2. Create and maintain spreadsheets and data of funding-related positions, pay, extra
pay, differentials, and other financial-related positions for District tracking
purposes.
3. Create and maintain updated data and spreadsheets of retirees for tracking
purposes.
4. Work collaboratively with human resources and finance to ensure accuracy,
efficiency, and clear communication related to funding, finances, and allocation of
resources.
5. Serve as a liaison between human resources and the business office.
6. Proactively monitor all financial aspects of human resources.
7. Foster collaborative team efforts between human resources and the business office
for accuracy and efficiency.
8. Support the preparation of Board packets, memos, and necessary documentation.
9. Process and track stipends in accordance with the Collective Bargaining
Agreement.
10. Process and track additional payouts in accordance with the Collective Bargaining
Agreement (all differentials, extra duty pays, longevity, and other like areas).
11. Receive and process Tuition Reimbursement requests for all qualifying employees
(Administrators, Certified, Classified Staff, and Department Staff), including
Course Approvals.
12. Receive and process Salary Lane Advancement requests for all Certified Staff.
13. Support hiring process communication and compliance and follow through with
correct funding sources.
14. Facilitate processing of all VISA and international recruits.
15. Track and process financial items related to retention, recruitment, and
professional development.
16. Assist in reviewing and preparing draft agreements and contracts as needed.
17. Maintain current Federal and State Labor Law posters District-wide.
18. Prepare necessary reports as it relates to regulations and programming.
19. Assist with employee recognition events.
20. Promote and support a positive workplace environment District-wide.
21. Exhibit legal and ethical behavior in their professional practices; follow and
implement all District rules, regulations, procedures, and policies.
22. Demonstrate a high level of professionalism with the ability to maintain
confidentiality and personal flexibility in all areas.
23. Maintain professional competence through in-service education activities provided
by the District.
24. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be requested by the Associate
Superintendent for Staff and District Operations, Assistant Superintendent/Chief
Financial Officer (CFO), or Designee.
