About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP for its Sales Development Organization. The successful candidate will be a key player in driving high-quality sales pipeline for both inbound and outbound channels. This role demands a leader who can take complete ownership of shaping and driving sales development strategy, deeply understand organizational drivers, and proactively highlight areas for improvement. The VP will be responsible for the development of people, processes, and technology to ensure that the Sales Development team is engaged in meaningful conversations with high-quality prospects. Collaboration with senior leadership in sales, marketing, and across the go-to-market function is essential to define and support the execution of the pipeline creation motion. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in GTM operations, be adept at cross-functional collaboration, and have a deep understanding of generating pipeline through outbound activity.Candidates for the VP position at the company should bring at least 12 years' of relevant experience, with a minimum of 8 years' in GTM operations leading sales managers or sales development teams, particularly for a technical product or SaaS company. The role requires a leader with a strong background in revenue program initiatives, performance management, and a history of quota overachievement. Experience in rapidly growing organizations, cross-functional collaboration, and a precise forecasting ability is also crucial. The VP will be expected to have a hands-on approach, be a mentor to senior and front-line managers, and be a steward of the organization. A self-starter with a passion for working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative high-growth environment is an ideal fit for this role.
