About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Asset Management for the Mid-Atlantic region. This hands-on leadership role involves overseeing a portfolio of approximately 16,000 apartment homes across 46 assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive understanding and management of each assigned asset's performance throughout its lifecycle. This includes developing and overseeing investment planning, defining regional investment strategy, managing capital investments, and revenue streams, and enhancing operational efficiency. The role requires a keen understanding of investment and real estate, with a focus on driving the expansion of total return and net asset value.The Vice President will work collaboratively with various internal teams to maximize asset values and meet portfolio performance objectives. Responsibilities include communicating asset and portfolio strategy to key stakeholders, maintaining market expertise, conducting property inspections, preparing business plans, reviewing operating statements, and driving value-added strategies. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years of experience in various aspects of the real estate value chain, a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), and possess advanced financial modeling skills. They should be a strategic thinker, adept at asset management, and have a proven track record of making sound business decisions. Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work autonomously and manage through influence.
