About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Asset Management in the Hospitality sector. The successful candidate will be a senior real estate professional with at least 10 years of experience, preferably in real estate private equity or asset management, and a deep passion for the hospitality industry. Responsibilities include leading the asset management of a hospitality portfolio, supporting the acquisition of new assets, and ensuring the highest standards of operational performance. The role demands a discerning individual with a proven track record in institutional asset management, strategic asset planning, and a strong drive for excellence.Key responsibilities for the role include performing asset management activities, such as developing and implementing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability, maintaining strong operator relations, and ensuring the physical integrity of assets. The ideal candidate will have broad geographic and operational expertise, be familiar with the acquisitions process, and have the ability to influence change at the asset level. Qualifications include exceptional analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams. A degree in a related field is required, with an MBA or equivalent being a plus. The role is remote-based, with significant national travel, and the candidate should be prepared to work closely with the company's Chicago-based analyst pool and dedicated resources.
