Job Description **Summary:**
Within the assigned district, grows the business profitably by growing existing customers and acquiring new customers through managing the business and sales territory. Responsible for district-level profit and loss. Achieve district sales growth, implement corporate sales initiatives, develops the district. May design and run district sales meetings, collaborate with sales representatives, as appropriate, to build business in new accounts. Responsible for sales management for prospective customers. Transition at-risk or orphaned accounts in order to maximize relationships and company profitability. May conduct field visits, create district and account level sales plans, set district level sales goals, forecast district sales performance, build relationships with top 10 customers and top 10 prospects in District.
**Job Duties/Responsibilities**
* Evaluate market intelligence data and verify with customer communications and report.
* Derive new business prospects for management review.
* Develop quarterly sales plans for approval and execute.
* Monitor competitor strategies and report.
* Communicate with OPS/R&D on new product ideas and status of on prototypes.
Job Requirements **Skills/Knowledge**
* Comprehensive knowledge of company products.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Excellent negotiating skills.
* Expertise in sales and marketing.
* Knowledge of products, pricing, strategic accounts and market competitors.
* Business planner with proven ability to run profitable district.
* Ability to analyze profit and loss of district.
* Motivator and problem solver, coaching and training skills, exceptional communication and presentation skills, good computer skills, strong ethics.
**Education**
* High school diploma or GED equivalent.
* Bachelor's degree a plus
**Experience**
* 3-5 years field sales management experience.
* 2-4 years sales background.
