Summary:

Hart Energy, leader in energy content, is seeking a highly successful advertising sales person who will contribute to the advertising bottom line by leveraging a fundamental knowledge of consultative selling into the business community. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated sales person who is successful at securing new business and maintaining previously established relationships. Prospecting is the key element of this position; it requires identifying and qualifying, as well as growing, clients for our digital, print, special publications and our events business.

The successful candidate should have strong consultative sales skill, with a proven track record of success in prospecting, business development and client service.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Develop integrated marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, including digital, print and events.

Maintain an active schedule of face-to-face appointments and prospecting calls.

Generate advertising revenue by consistently meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals.

Work with all levels, including C-level executives, small business owners, managing partners and marketing specialists.

Sell new business via high volume prospecting, phone calls, emails and meetings.

Domestic travel (25%).

Requirements and Qualifications:

Aggressive self-starter who can systematically prospect for new business.

Knowledge and proven experience in digital, print and/or conference sales.

Strong communication skills both for creating proposals and delivering presentations.

Ability to interface cohesively with internal and external teams is a must.

Knowledge of energy industry is preferred, but not necessary.

Ability to forge strong relationships with clients.

Familiarity with Hubspot or another CRM is preferred.

Minimum five years of advertising/business development experience and a proven track record.

Bachelor's degree in related field; years of experience may be substituted for degree.

Working Conditions:

Frequently required to stand, occasionally required to walk, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers, including but not limited to keyboard usage, etc.

Regularly required to lift up to 05 pounds, frequently lift up to 10 pounds, occasionally required to lift up to 15 pounds.

Vision requirements include close vision and ability to focus.

Noise level in the environment is moderate.
