Job Description: Human Resources Business Partner Position: Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) Location: Chicago, IL Employment Type: Full-time Shift Information: Day, 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00) Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our dynamic HR team. This position is integral to fostering positive and effective employee relations within a partially unionized healthcare environment. The HRBP will serve as an employee relations content expert within our integrated HR business partner and practice center model.
Key Responsibilities: Employee Relations Expertise: Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring alignment with mission, vision, and values.
Investigation Conduct: Conduct thorough investigations into employee relations concerns, complaints, and policy violations.
Trend Analysis: Perform detailed trend analysis to identify areas of concern and collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement action plans.
Subject Matter Expert: Serve as a subject matter expert on investigations for the Employee Relations team, HR Business Partners, business leaders, and employees.
Compliance: Maintain a deep understanding of relevant laws, regulations, concepts, and practices to ensure compliance and provide accurate advice.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with HR Business Partners, business leaders, and other stakeholders to support and enhance employee relations strategies.
Policy Adherence: Exemplify and promote adherence to policies and procedures.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
Demonstrated experience in a unionized healthcare setting is highly desirable.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
Proven ability to perform trend analysis and develop effective action plans.
Certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is preferred.

Pay Details: $51.00 to $59.00 per hour
