About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for University Advancement to lead and manage all facets of its advancement programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for attracting philanthropic support from individuals, corporations, and foundations, including annual, major, and planned giving. This role involves working closely with the President, Board of Regents, deans, faculty, and other university leaders to develop and implement fundraising strategies that align with the institution's mission and values. The Vice President will also be expected to build and maintain a personal portfolio of major and principal gift donors, oversee campaign planning and integration, and ensure the success of the university's comprehensive campaign.Applicants should have a minimum of 8 to 10 years of leadership experience in managing successful comprehensive advancement programs, with a proven track record of securing significant major gifts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A Bachelor's degree is required, and experience with Raiser's Edge NXT software is preferred. The role demands a proactive, goal-oriented leader who can inspire and engage a diverse team, foster strong relationships, and work collaboratively to achieve the university's philanthropic goals.
