About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for University Advancement to lead and manage all facets of its advancement programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for attracting philanthropic support from individuals, corporations, and foundations and will work closely with the President, Board of Regents, and other university leaders to set and achieve fundraising goals. This role requires a strategic and collaborative leader with a deep commitment to the mission of the institution, particularly in the areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion. The Vice President will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships, oversee campaign planning and integration, and lead a team of advancement professionals. Major objectives for the role include establishing trust with stakeholders, developing a comprehensive campaign strategy, and securing significant major and principal gifts.Applicants for the Vice President for University Advancement position at the company should have a minimum of 8 to 10 years of leadership experience in comprehensive advancement programs, with a proven track record of securing major gifts. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, goal-oriented leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of articulating compelling cases for support. A bachelor's degree is required, and a background in a university, healthcare, or education setting is preferred. The role demands a leader who is collaborative, creative, and results-oriented and who can foster a culture of philanthropy and inclusivity. The Vice President will also be involved in decision-making at a senior level, contributing to the development of new policies and procedures and maintaining an equitable and inclusive work environment.
