We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to orchestrate the mass commercialization of our iron-rich cathodes, working with cross-functional partners to align objectives and deliver on milestones.
Responsibilities:
Work with customers, R&D, and manufacturing teams to develop a strategic roadmap to bring our iron-rich cathodes to electrification products
Engage customers in joint development agreements and drive codevelopment between customer and in-house engineering teams
Understand which performance and quality metrics matter to customers as Mitra Chem scales up, and hold internal stakeholders accountable to those metrics
Respond to customer requests for should-cost models and value-add explanations that demonstrate to OEMs the value of Mitra Chem’s technology
Collect commercial intelligence research to understand competitor offerings and pricing structures
Translate process innovations into yield and cost improvement roadmap
Work with Head of Commercial to develop a master timeline that matches product roadmaps and factory scale-up timelines with commercial agreements with core customers
Develop project KPIs and drive project sprints to ensure consistent delivery of product milestones
Cultivate schedule discipline with company leadership, and communication between stakeholders
Problem-solve difficult obstacles, performing market research and presenting strategies to leadership
Experience:
BS/MS in a technical discipline, such as Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
3+ years in a customer-facing role in the battery materials space or other similar hard-tech or specialty chemicals industry
Technical fluency in cathode materials key performance indicators
Proven track record of managing complex technical projects Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with experience in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management
Entrepreneurial spirit, scrappiness and ability to interact with other functions in a cross-disciplinary environment
Fluency in Mandarin or Korean is a plus.

The estimated base salary range for this role is $140,000-$180,000.
Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in a bonus and equity plan.
