About The Role We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Program Manager to lead our hardware programs, specifically those involving government contracts . This is a critical role that requires strong technical expertise , excellent project management skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional hardware and software teams and , preferably, experience working with government agencies .
Responsibilities Lead and manage hardware development programs from concept to production to deployment, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Monitor and report on program progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineering, software engineering, and external suppliers and collaborators to ensure seamless program execution.
Ensure compliance with all relevant government regulations and standards, including preparation and submission of necessary documentation.
Identify and address potential bottlenecks, risks, and issues, and develop contingency plans to mitigate them
Lead cross-functional teams in driving process improvements and implementing best practices to enhance overall program execution efficiency and effectiveness
Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of experience of managing hardware or software programs
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred
Proven experience in technical program management in the computer hardware industry
Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering programs, preferably involving government agencies.
Strong technical background and understanding of hardware and software development processes and technologies
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrated leadership abilities and the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project objectives
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues proactively
Proficiency in project management software and tools
