Job Description Job Description Summary of Position:
Through positions supervised, candidate is responsible for the continued growth of People, Sales and Profits of all regional restaurants. Ideal candidate regularly reviews the operations for efficient and consistent execution of the company standards. In this role, one works directly with Operations Support Leaders to provide direction and coaching to meet financial and operating goals.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Relates all performance standards to the Company Vision, Mission and Values.
Holds direct reports responsible for development and implementation of action plans designed to achieve restaurant operating goals.
Holds District and General Managers responsible to maintain established performance and ethical standards with their direct reports.
Visits restaurants to ensure that safety, sanitation, operating, and guest service programs are being utilized and met for existing and opening units.
Ensures profit levels are maintained while focusing on guest satisfaction and increasing guest count.
Assists in helping to increase restaurant guest counts through marketing execution for existing and new- opening restaurants.
Ensures that all Federal, State, and local labor laws are consistently adhered to.
Takes immediate and appropriate action to correct substandard performance or conditions in troubled areas.
Manages pro-actively by making timely and sound decisions, and anticipating the impact of those decisions on the Company.
Develops, trains, and serves as a mentor to direct reports. Follows established performance management processes. Provides performance reviews/feedback for General Managers, District Managers, and Direct Reports. Identifies promotables, those at risk, and successors, and ensures individual performance is continuously reviewed.
Administers steps in the Performance Management Cycle.
Interviews District, General, Assistant, and Assistant General Management candidates. Makes timely hiring decisions and mentors new District and General Managers.
Encourages cooperation and open communication through consistent genuine and transparent interactions.
Reviews staffing requirements and succession plans on a consistent basis with subordinates, HR Partners, and the CEO. Forecasts turnover and develops/implements strategies and tactics to retain managers.
Conducts effective and timely operations meetings.
Reviews restaurants' annual budgets ensuring company fiscal objectives are met. Develops plans or strategies to ensure financial targets are met.
Achieves or exceed sales budgets; meets established net operating profit and cash flow targets.
Qualifications:
· Five years prior experience as a multi-unit manager in a full service restaurant operation. Professional experience in all areas of restaurant operations.
· Ability to travel to Home Office (New Orleans) and restaurant locations regularly.
· Knowledge of Company operating policies and procedures preferred. Knowledge of Labor Laws, Health Codes, Safe Food Handling and Sanitation, Safety and Security systems and procedures and computer operations necessary.
· Strong Financial Acumen and experience analyzing restaurant profit and loss statements.
· Must have the ability to speak in front of groups; ability to inspire and engage both individuals and groups; strong organizational and analytical skills; and training experience.
Experience in the New Orleans market preferred.
