About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Product to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving product innovation across the company's portfolio and customer lifecycle. This role is pivotal in creating and maintaining alignment across the organization, ensuring the team understands the product vision and direction, and has clear plans for execution. The VP of Product will be responsible for the product strategy, roadmap, and execution, with a strong emphasis on delivering customer value and driving meaningful business outcomes. They will also be tasked with growing and developing a top-tier product team, fostering a culture of excellence, and building strong partnerships with technology, UX, data science, and go-to-market teams. Candidates for this position should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or equivalent work experience, with a preference for a Master's degree. A minimum of 10 years' of product management experience, including time in a marketplace business and/or a product-led SaaS business, is required, along with at least 5 years' of progressive leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of developing product leaders and fostering strong product teams, as well as a passion for product excellence and experience in organizations with a high level of collaboration. Experience in the logistics industry and with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Pendo, and Aha! is preferred. The role demands a leader who can balance a strategic outlook with a hands-on approach, is adept at managing teams in a fast-paced environment, and is dedicated to putting customers and users at the forefront of product development.
