We’re seeking a team member for the role of Product Manager to join our Digital Assets Business team.
In This Role, You’ll Make An Impact Through
Identifying our clients’ needs and working to define, document, and create digital asset, distributed ledger, and smart contract-based solutions to ultimately improve their experience with BNY Mellon’s products and services
Synthesizing and communicating technical information in digestible formats that articulate a clear message to internal and external stakeholders
Obtaining data from multiple sources (e.g., market research, customer feedback, regulatory guidance) to make qualitative and quantitative recommendations that inform our product roadmap and commercial decision making
Develop commercial models to inform product roadmap and associated business KPIs
Define and implement go to market strategy, including client-facing collateral, thought leadership, internal and external approvals
Utilizing design thinking frameworks to lead and facilitate workshops to understand client needs, developing a compelling solution and business case and map client journeys
Partnering with cross-functional teams to develop, maintain, and enhance internal and external stakeholder relationships , always operating with a consensus-building mindset
Engaging with clients across the spectrum of size, domicile, and segment to develop digital asset, distributed ledger, and smart contract-based solutions with our Platform and Engineering teammates
Flexing your strong project and program management skills to drive execution of priority, high-touch initiatives
Prioritizing and evangelizing a client-centric, digital mindset with cross-functional partners across engineering, sales, relationship management, legal, compliance, operations and other internal teams
Understanding, assessing, and applying product risks (including operational, financial, reputational, and regulatory) as implicit requirements to defining product roadmap

To Be Successful In This Role, We’re Seeking
Individuals with a learner’s mindset and energetic approach to solution development and design
Creative, open-minded, and curious team players with 5-7 years of professional experience in the financial services industry
Graduates of bachelor’s degree programs in business, related discipline, or equivalent work experience
Client-centrists with deep capital markets and financial services domain expertise across pre-trade, trade, and post-trade products (and digital asset domain experience preferred)
Adaptability to highly dynamic and collaborative work environment s
Experience managing components of the end-to-end product development lifecycle Qualifications:
Qualifications: 5-7 years of total work experience with at least 0-1 years in management preferred. Project Management experience preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Prince2 certification is preferred.
BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between 85,000 and 175,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
